RIDBC Renwick Centre is a centre for research and professional studies in the field of education for children with sensory disabilities. The Renwick Centre is administered by the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC). Situated within the RIDBC grounds at North Rocks, Sydney, the RIDBC Renwick Centre offers students a unique opportunity for observation and practical experience.
In partnership with the University of Newcastle, the RIDBC Renwick Centre is committed to the provision of high quality teaching and learning opportunities for professionals in the area of Special Education for students with hearing or vision impairment, research in these same areas, and related community service.
The RIDBC Renwick Centre offers a range of postgraduate degrees through distance education. Award programs can be tailored to focus on hearing impairment or vision impairment. All degrees are awards of the University of Newcastle Australia.
